It’s been a busy few months since our last newsletter. Since then, as well as supporting events all around the UK, we’ve been doing a bit of jet-setting to Japan, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic and Germany.Here’s what’s in our Christmas Newsletter:
In November we travelled to the Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, for a one day exhibition highlighting the latest in event technology. Exhibitors included those offering mobile event apps, mobile and social analytics, cloud technology and social media tools. Attendees were treated to panel sessions where key speakers from within the industry gave their personal experience of using event technology, as well as their insight on how they saw the industry changing.
Group Dynamics General Manager, Joe Buckhurst, presented at the Tech Demo area giving event organisers his top tips on maximising the best use of tablets and BYOD at events as well as the pitfalls to avoid.
A leading medical device manufacturer wanted to create two engaging and informative medical symposiums for over 1100 global surgeons hosted in Rome and Sapporo discussing the latest in orthopaedic surgery.
Using the latest technology, each delegate needed to be able to contribute to discussions easily. With this in mind, we provided each delegate with a tablet equipped with case study backgrounds, surgery photos and x-rays.
Why not go paperless? Create the meeting itinerary you need electronically. Agendas, speaker bios, welcome notes and even seating plans, to name just a few features can all be provided all customised with your company logo!
In the first in our series of expert masterclasses, Alison Glaves, Managing Director at MEDIAmaker, gives you her insight into the most effective ways of using icebreakers at your event. Alison has over 25 years experience in creating communication solutions in live events.

There was an interesting range of opinions given by clients who have used all of our solutions, from the Messenger handset through to our tablets and RFID attendance management solutions. Here are a few salient messages from the survey results.
Better than our competitors!It was great to see that all who responded were pleased with the service received at their last event and that our service quality is above that provided by our competitors. However, there is always room for improvement and we will work hard to ensure an even better rating at future events.Too technical?There were several comments about how well we managed to explain technical solutions to a non-technical audience. Conversely there were a similar amount of messages suggesting we needed to be less “techie” and explain things better. Clearly, improvements can be made, so thank you for your honest replies!

With a score of 9.4 out of 10, it is fantastic to see that our clients would happily recommend us to friends or colleagues. This really demonstrates not only the value we add to your events, but also the quality of service we provide.
